Step 2: Write your Personal EssayPlease provide a personal essay covering the four areas as described below in the "Nightingale Nominee Guide for Personal Essay". The personal essay must be typed and NO MORE THAN 5 PAGES TOTAL. This can be done in Word format and directly mailed/emailed to the Colorado Springs AHEC representative. If you have questions about the essay or the letters of support, please contact your Director or Dean, to contact with a Nightingale Nominee Mentor. Step 3: Get Letters of SupportIn addition to your personal essay, three additional letters supporting your nomination will be required. No more than 5 letters will be accepted. One letter must be from a member of administration at your facility or organization. Have the letters of support mailed/emailed directly to the Colorado Springs AHEC representative. Do not include resumes, CVs or articles written by or about you. Do not include photos with your packet. (The personal information above will be sent directly to your AHEC representative. You must complete Steps #2 and #3 on your own. Please make sure your full name and phone number are on the essay you mail/email in.)
