The Nightingale Awards event was founded in 1985 to honor nurses who best exemplify the philosophy and practice of Florence Nightingale, a 19th century nursing pioneer, who epitomized the art of helping people toward their optimum health.

Registered Nurses in Colorado Springs are nominated by colleagues and friends and recognized at an awards dinner on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Crown Plaza Hotel. The goal of the 2010 Nightingale event is to recognize these outstanding nurses and to raise funds for next years award event, scholarships and educational activities for nurses in our area.

In order to assist with financial needs of this event, a Silent Auction is held that evening. If you, or your organization, are able to contribute and item(s), it would greatly assist in continuing this prestigious recognition of these professional nurses. All donations are tax deductible to this not-for-profit organization.
